Palladium Hotel Group Opens New Five-Star BLESS Barcelona

Palladium Hotel Group has opened BLESS Barcelona, a new five-star hotel bringing its BLESS Collection Hotels brand to the Catalan capital this August. The property marks the group’s return to Barcelona and expands the BLESS portfolio to four hotels.

The 119-room hotel sits on Plaça Catalunya, close to Passeig de Gràcia, placing guests near Gaudí’s modernist architecture, luxury boutiques and some of the city’s most sought after restaurants. Room rates start from USD $404 in low season and USD $608 in high season.

BLESS Barcelona blends Mediterranean spirit with contemporary luxury, according to the group, with interiors designed to balance modern elegance with the character of the city. Gastronomy plays a central role in the concept, with a collaboration with Hofmann bringing its culinary expertise to the hotel from the lobby onward.

On the rooftop, La Pajarera offers guests another view of the city. The space draws inspiration from the historic Gran Café Colón, once one of Barcelona’s most celebrated meeting places in the late 19th century, and has been reimagined as a destination for cocktails and dining. Adriana Chía leads the drinks program, bringing a contemporary approach to the offering.

Palladium Hotel Group describes BLESS Barcelona as more than a place to stay, positioning it as a way to experience the city through design, gastronomy, service and curated experiences rooted in Barcelona’s culture and creativity.

BLESS Collection Hotels plays a central role in Palladium Hotel Group’s expansion in the luxury sector. The brand focuses on contemporary luxury, high standards of service, memorable experiences, dining and wellbeing, with each property designed to carry its own distinctive character.

Before the Barcelona opening, BLESS Collection Hotels operated three properties: BLESS Madrid in the capital’s Milla de Oro, and two hotels in Ibiza, BLESS Ibiza Cala Nova on the island’s north coast and BLESS Ibiza The Site, which opened earlier this season in Playa d’en Bossa.

BLESS Ibiza The Site forms part of The Site Ibiza, Palladium Hotel Group’s new lifestyle concept. The destination combines two hotels, BLESS Ibiza The Site and The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel, alongside an international dining lineup that includes Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen, StreetXO Ibiza, COYA Ibiza, Leña Ibiza, Lobito de Mar, Sublimotion and TATEL Ibiza. IBIZA Gallery, a space dedicated to art, fashion and entertainment, completes the concept.

BLESS Collection Hotels plans further international growth in 2027 with an 80-villa resort in Ninh Van Bay, Vietnam, marking the brand’s first property in Southeast Asia. The group will follow with BLESS Hanoi in 2028, before entering Milan in 2029 with a 100-room hotel, extending its presence in one of Europe’s leading luxury markets.
