Fusion CX Acquires VA Platinum, Establishing Australian Market Presence

Fusion CX has acquired VA Platinum, an Australian-focused offshore staffing and managed workforce provider with approximately $12 million in annual revenue, giving the global business process outsourcing company its first presence in Australia and expanding its capabilities in financial and professional services.

The transaction is Fusion CX’s 16th acquisition and establishes a physical presence in New South Wales. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Founded in 2017 by CEO Brian Jones, VA Platinum provides dedicated offshore employees to more than 350 small and mid-sized Australian businesses. The company has more than 700 revenue-generating employees and an operations team of approximately 100 professionals across delivery centers in Cebu and Davao, Philippines.

VA Platinum expects to generate approximately US$12 million in revenue in 2026. Its workforce supports Australian companies across finance and accounting, mortgage broking, financial planning, lending, bookkeeping, legal and conveyancing, real estate and other specialized business functions.

For Fusion CX, the acquisition provides an established route into Australia rather than requiring the company to build a local operation and customer base from the ground up. It also adds a staffing model centered on dedicated, full-time offshore professionals to Fusion CX’s existing customer experience and BPO services.

“VA Platinum has built a business with expertise in the Australian market and a differentiated approach to offshore staffing,” said Pankaj Dhanuka, co-founder and CEO of Fusion CX. “This acquisition marks an important milestone for Fusion CX as we establish our presence in Australia and add specialized staffing and managed workforce capabilities to our portfolio.”

The combination expands Fusion CX’s service portfolio in several verticals where VA Platinum already has operating experience, including finance and accounting BPO, mortgage and real estate BPO and specialized professional support.

VA Platinum’s Australian customer relationships will be paired with Fusion CX’s larger international delivery infrastructure and outsourcing capabilities. The strategy gives existing VA Platinum clients access to resources from a broader BPO organization while giving Fusion CX an entry point into Australia’s small and midsize business market.

Jones will join Fusion CX along with the VA Platinum organization. The companies did not disclose any planned changes to VA Platinum’s brand, leadership or Philippine delivery operations.

“Joining Fusion CX marks an exciting new chapter for VA Platinum,” Jones said. “We have built our business around helping Australian companies access dedicated, high-quality offshore teams.”

The acquisition also strengthens Fusion CX’s exposure to financial services and related professional workflows. Unlike traditional contact center outsourcing, many of VA Platinum’s roles are embedded within customers’ ongoing business operations, covering functions such as bookkeeping, lending support, mortgage processing and financial planning.

That model gives Fusion CX an additional way to serve companies looking to establish offshore teams without directly building and managing their own overseas operations.

Founded in 2004, Fusion CX is headquartered in Kolkata, India, and Atlanta and provides customer experience, business process outsourcing and offshore staffing services. Its customers span telecommunications and utilities, banking and financial services, insurance, healthcare, retail and technology.

Fusion CX also operates Omind, its AI solutions business, which provides generative AI-based automation and customer experience technology as well as AI data infrastructure services for AI laboratories and robotics companies.

VA Platinum brings a different geographic and customer profile to that platform. Its business has been built specifically around Australian companies while its service delivery is concentrated in the Philippines, a major offshore services market for Australian businesses.

With more than 800 employees across VA Platinum’s revenue-generating and operations teams, the acquisition also adds meaningful delivery capacity to Fusion CX.

The deal continues Fusion CX’s acquisition-led expansion while extending its geographic footprint into Australia. Its next integration phase will center on combining VA Platinum’s local market relationships and specialized staffing model with Fusion CX’s global delivery, BPO and technology capabilities.
