Yami Gautam Dhar has largely maintained a style sensibility that reflects her preference for simplicity. However, there is one beauty trend from the past that the actor says she would not consider trying.

During a chat with Filmfare, she was asked about a fashion trend she could never follow, and Yami said, “I don’t know if that was a trend but bleached hair.”
Yami’s wardrobe essential is a pair of earrings
Interestingly, Yami’s approach to accessories appears to be quite different. The actor revealed, “I’ve fallen in love with earrings for some reason, I don’t know why, and those chunky ones.”
Yami also spoke about a particular pair that holds special significance for her. Her favourite earrings were gifted to her by her naani and have a distinctly traditional and personal connection. “My favourite will always be the traditional pair of earrings which my naani had gifted me. They were gold and with work of red and white beads, which is very pahadi. I am a very minimal person, but when it comes to earrings, I’ve become quite maximal,” the actor said.

Yami is seen in the recently released film, Nayyi Navelli. The fantasy family entertainer marks filmmaker Balaji Mohan’s Hindi directorial debut.
In the film, Yami plays Mohini, a seemingly perfect new bride who enters a chaotic household in Meerut and attempts to bring some order to it. Her arrival, however, takes an unexpected turn when her brother-in-law begins to suspect that she is a daayan, or witch.
Nayyi Navelli is written by Himanshu Sharma and Divy Nidhi Sharma and produced by Aanand L. Rai and Himanshu Sharma under Amazon MGM Studios and Colour Yellow. The film features music by G.V. Prakash Kumar.
