CME Group confirms 250 BCH contracts
CME Group announced on October 20, 2026, that FalconX and GSR executed the first block trade in its new Bitcoin Cash futures, according to Investing News Network. The announcement said trading was underway in the BCH contracts, which are cash-settled products designed to track Bitcoin Cash exposure without requiring delivery of the cryptocurrency.
The standard contract covers 250 BCH and the micro contract covers 25 BCH, according to Gate. CoinDesk reported that CME planned to begin offering the standard and micro contracts on October 19, 2026, subject to regulatory review.

The same dashboard recorded 414,430 BCH transacted across the last 144 blocks, a window labeled as roughly 24 hours on October 26, 2026.
