Chris Redman recalls Super Bowl season, lifelong Ravens bonds

Chris Redman’s time in Baltimore remains a defining part of his football story, something he reflected on during his conversation on The Lounge with Ryan Mink and Garrett Downing.

“I enjoyed winning a Super Bowl my rookie year,” Redman said, reflecting on his early years with the Ravens.

He also spoke about the relationships that emerged from that era, which still carry weight decades later.

“I met some incredible guys along the way that are lifelong friends of mine,” he said.

Redman pointed to names like Brandon Stokley, Tony Banks, Todd Heap, and Brad Jackson as examples of bonds that have lasted long after their playing days in Baltimore ended.

While he acknowledged the success of that team, he also admitted the offensive system didn’t always align with his strengths.

“It probably wasn’t the best fit as far as an offense for me,” he said, looking back on the early 2000s scheme.

Even so, Redman emphasized gratitude for the experience, the city, and the championship foundation that shaped his career.
