Dua Lipa dared to brave the early-June Sicilian heat while jump-starting her wedding festivities with husband Callum Turner on Friday, sweeping into her welcome party wearing a custom white woven leather dress by Bottega Veneta — and Turner, clad in a tan suit, clearly couldn’t keep his hands off his bride.
Done in the Italian fashion house’s signature Intrecciato weaving technique, the 30-year-old Grammy winner’s backless halter gown cascaded into a dramatic fringed skirt accented with fluttering feathers.
Lipa accessorized with a matching Bottega Veneta Andiamo clutch ($6,100) adorned with the same ostrich plumes, along with plenty of bling from Bulgari.
Lipa, who’s an ambassador for the jewelry brand, sported a dazzling Tubogas Manchette watch worth over $200,000 on her left wrist. Inspired by a vintage Bulgari design from 1974, the single-coil bracelet is set with colorful citrines, rubellites, peridots, amethysts, topazes and spessartites along with nearly 12 carats of diamonds.
On her right wrist, the musician wore Bulgari’s Serpenti Pallini watch — a snake-inspired rose gold stunner with pear-cut emerald eyes and a pavé diamond head and tail totaling over 24 carats. The price for this second timepiece? Nearly $500,000.
Along with her custom yellow gold engagement ring from Turner, 36, Lipa finished her welcome-party look with one of Bulgari’s Serpenti necklaces, seemingly set with a gigantic colored gemstone at its head.
Mark Ronson, Grace Gummer, Joe Alwyn, Charli XCX, George Daniel and Troye Sivan were among the famous guests in attendance at the pre-wedding cocktail party.
Lipa and Turner are already married, having tied the know in an intimate ceremony at Old Marylebone Town Hall in London on May 31.
The “Levitating” hitmaker said “I do” wearing a Schiaparelli Haute Couture skirt suit inspired by Bianca Jagger’s bridal look from 1971.
Lipa accessorized her first wedding look with white gloves, Christian Louboutin heels and a gold leaf-lined Stephen Jones hat, along with a white gold Bulgari Serpenti necklace encrusted with diamonds.
