First Look: The Trilobe Trente-Deux With New Colours & Gold Cases

One of the pleasant surprises of 2025 and a game-changer for the very young, Paris-based independent brand, the Trilobe Trente-Deux entered the competitive integrated-bracelet sports watch segment. More importantly, however, it debuted the Calibre X-Nihilo, Trilobe’s first in-house movement, developed, produced, and assembled in Paris. Less than a year later, Trilobe expanded the collection with several new references, including additional dial colours, precious-metal versions and bespoke Secret editions.

The images presented here are of the two additions to the series that we had a chance to spend time with. One is the Trente-Deux in 18k rose gold paired with a rich green dial and matching rubber strap. The second is the stainless-steel model with a grey dial and integrated bracelet, one of the most balanced and versatile references in the collection. Beyond these two, Trilobe also introduced silver and green dials in steel, as well as blue, silver and grey dial variants in rose gold.

The Trente-Deux case is immediately recognisable. Measuring 39.5mm in diameter and 10.15mm thick, the case comprises seven individually finished elements with polished, satin-brushed and microblasted surfaces. The fluted bezel, with polished ridges and matte grooves, remains, and the signed crown is protected by subtle guards that mirror the case element on the left. The monochromatic stainless-steel grey edition brings out the dial and case’s textures especially well. The integrated steel bracelet, featuring brushed links and polished intermediate elements, makes this version perfectly aligned with the sporty-chic spirit of the collection.

The rose-gold and green reference offers a different personality. The warm precious-metal case contrasts beautifully with the green dial, and the rubber strap with the brand’s playful floating duck motif on the reverse introduces a relaxed feel. Both are what we call modern everyday luxury pieces, and both balance elegance with practicality. The steel grey model showcases the collection’s architectural purity, while the rose-gold green edition demonstrates how comfortably the Trente-Deux adapts to a more luxurious interpretation.

Like all Trente-Deux models, the new editions rely on Trilobe’s patented display system, one of the most original and recognisable designs in contemporary independent watchmaking. Time is indicated by the three rotating discs arranged on different levels, replacing conventional hands. Hours are displayed on the outer ring, while minutes and seconds are shown through the brand’s signature figure-eight layout at the centre.

Powering the collection is the Calibre X-Nihilo, an automatic movement conceived, developed and assembled by Trilobe in Paris. Consisting of 218 components and running at 28,800 vibrations/hour, it offers a 42-hour power reserve. Viewed through the sapphire caseback, the movement reveals a distinctive design with an elevated balance wheel and a largely open layout, featuring an openworked rotor so that the brushed bridges, polished details, and carefully executed finishing can be admired virtually unobstructed.

The collection also welcomes new Secret editions, available in both steel and rose gold. Continuing an existing concept, these watches offer a personalised celestial map reproducing the exact night sky for a meaningful date, time, and location chosen by the owner. The new Trente-Deux steel models are priced at EUR 17,500 before taxes, while the rose-gold versions retail for EUR 35,500 before taxes. Secret editions are available from EUR 21,500 in steel and EUR 39,500 in rose gold.
