Martha Stewart just shocked the Internet by ditching her famous blonde hair for rose gold pink.
Stewart, who recently celebrated her 85th birthday, is a legendary domestic goddess and tycoon behind her Martha Stewart Living empire. She’s recently dipped into the beauty realm with her line, Elm Biosciences, so it’s no surprise that she’s making waves online with her ageless beauty. But one beauty swap nobody expected was a dramatic change to her trademark blonde hair.
Joined by celebrity stylist Chris Appleton, Stewart shared a duo of videos boasting her new rose gold hair. The soft pink hue is a strong departure from the legendary blonde’s typical locks, which she’s sported since her modeling days.
In the first video, Stewart mouths Miranda Priestley’s audio from The Devil Wears Prada, telling Stapleton to get to work.
“Pull yourself together,” the voiceover said. “We have work to do. And by we, I mean you.”
Showing off the final product, Stewart mugged for the camera.

Is Martha Stewart Wearing a Pink Wig?
Some eagle-eyed fans are wondering if Stewart was simply sporting a rose gold pink wig in the photo set. Their evidence is the head form that’s spotted in the back of the photo.
“I love that you can see the head form the “rose gold” wig came off of in the shot. 🙄,” a follower commented.
However, seeing as Appleton is one of the industry’s most beloved hairstylists, he could certainly pull off a number of looks on the legendary domestic goddess with ease.
Naturally, The Internet Had Strong Opinions
It wouldn’t be the Internet without neverending input from fans and foes! But the response to Stewart’s hair transformation was largely positive, with commenters praising her fun color switch.
“It makes her look about 30 years younger, I love how it looks on her😍,” one person said.
“Omg how does she consistently LOOK BETTER,” another person commented.
“Martha’s a BADDDDDIEEEEEE!!!!!!!🔥,” someone else proclaimed.
What Do Martha Stewart’s Grandkids Call Her?
When she’s not serving looks on the Internet, Stewart is a proud grandmother. In an interview last year, she shared that she doesn’t exactly go by “Nana” or “Granny.”
“They’ve called me Martha since the day they were born,” Stewart shared on the Nov. 30 episode of QVC+’s 50+ & Unfiltered podcast, E! reported. “And all their friends call me Martha. None of them call me Mrs. Stewart. I’m not a Mrs. Stewart.”
But the grandkids aren’t alone. Alexis Stewart, Martha’s daughter, also calls her that.
“My daughter calls me Martha,” Martha explained. “She’s always called me Martha.”
