Mondaine has expanded its Doppio collection with a new rose gold colourway, introducing a 33mm model that brings a softer, more feminine option to one of the brand’s most design-led lines.
The Doppio is built around the idea of doubling – an aesthetic philosophy expressed through double-line hands and indexes, a concave dial, and a double-domed sapphire crystal that create a subtle interplay of depth and form.
In this new watch, a rose gold-toned dial features a fine moiré effect created through black circular patterns, adding visual texture without disrupting that signature minimalism.

It’s that combination of rose gold and black that gives a contemporary edge and avoids the gaudy, girly-girl feel that can often undermine watches positioned as ‘for women’.
Meanwhile, contrasting black indexes and hands ensure legibility remains sharp against the warm-toned backdrop.

The polished 316L stainless steel case is paired with a finely crafted mesh Milanese bracelet, giving the watch quite the classy presence on the wrist.
It’s powered by a Swiss quartz movement provides reliable accuracy, while water resistance of 50 metres makes it a practical everyday piece.
At 33mm, the case size sits in a versatile position – large enough to earn a double-take from sartorially-inclined admirers, but also small enough to tick the zeitgeist-y downsized trend box.
