Eagle-eyed fans spotted Kelce wearing a yellow gold wedding band in an Instagram photo shared by former NFL player Cris Carter last week, and the color choice matches Swift’s yellow gold engagement ring.

“The choice of a yellow gold band appears to complement the tone of Taylor’s engagement ring, which is a nice way to match,” jewelry designer Steph Mazuera told Elle.

Angie Kennedy, vice president of merchandising at Zales, added that the band’s color creates “a subtle connection between their rings without requiring them to match exactly.”

Kennedy also shared her observations about the design, saying, “Travis appears to be wearing a classic yellow gold wedding band with a wider, more substantial silhouette. The band has a smooth, polished finish and a softly rounded profile.”

She also estimates that the band is valued at “around $1,100 to $1,400,” assuming that it’s made in solid 14K or 18K yellow gold. “The exact value would depend on the ring’s gold weight, karat, and whether it is a custom design,” she said.

Mazuera, however, has a higher estimate. “I would expect a ring like this to fall somewhere in the $2,000 to $6,000 range,” she said.

For her part, Swift debuted her yellow gold engagement ring from Artifex Fine Jewelry at this year’s iHeartRadio Music Awards on March 26.

Max Milligan, head of sales at luxury jeweler Queensmith, previously told InStyle that he estimates the ring to be around 10 carats. The vintage-inspired ring, which features an 18K yellow gold band, complements Swift’s aesthetic, according to one jewelry expert.
