Lead casting, performance dates and venue have today been confirmed for the forthcoming concert production of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.
Directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Warren Carlyle, the concert will play The London Palladium for three performances on 26 and 27 March 2027, starring Megan Hilty and Rachel Tucker as Lorelei Lee and Dorothy Shaw. Further casting is to be announced.
First premiered on Broadway with a cast led by Carol Channing in 1949 (later adapted into the 1953 film starring Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell), the musical has a book by Anita Loos and Joseph Fields, music by Jule Styne and lyrics by Leo Robin. It follows Lee and Shaw aboard a Paris-bound ocean liner, featuring such as “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend”, “A Little Girl from Little Rock”, and “Bye Bye Baby”.
The creative team for the concert includes musical irector Alan Williams, set and costume designer Rebecca Brower, lighting designer Zoe Spurr, associate choreographer Joanna Goodwin and associate Director Mark Hedges. Ensemble casting is by Pearsons Casting, and general management is by QUBE Theatricals.

Bringing Megan back to Lorelei after her two sold-out London concerts, opposite Rachel Tucker as Dorothy, felt totally irresistible. With Warren Carlyle directing and choreographing, audiences can expect big company dance, plenty of tap, and a proper Broadway spectacle on the Palladium stage.’
