Platinum Equity has acquired Warren Valve, a supplier of engineered and distributed flow control valves serving energy, industrial and infrastructure markets across North America, from Allied Group. The acquisition establishes Warren Valve as an independent business, with the company set to continue serving customers across key sectors, including natural gas, utilities, refining, petrochemicals and industrial technology. inancial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Warren Valve supplies products and solutions to customers in natural gas midstream, gas utility, upstream and downstream operations, refining and petrochemicals, as well as industrial and technology markets. Its products serve applications where reliable flow control and operational performance are essential.

Following the acquisition, Warren Valve will operate as a standalone company under its existing management team, led by President and CEO Mark Day. Allied Group founder and CEO Marc Herzstein, along with members of Warren Valve’s management team, have invested alongside Platinum Equity and will retain minority ownership in the independent business.

Jacob Kotzubei, Co-President of Platinum Equity, said, “Under Allied’s stewardship Warren has built a terrific business serving customers in critical energy and industrial applications where performance and reliability are vital. We believe the company is well positioned to benefit from continued investment in energy infrastructure, power generation, LNG and other industrial markets. We also think there is potential upside from growing demand for power infrastructure tied to data center and AI development.”

Herzstein said the decision to sell followed Warren Valve’s development into a business ready to operate independently. He added, “Warren Valve has been part of the Allied family for a long time. Selling a business you have helped grow is not a small decision. We made it because Warren is ready to stand on its own, and Platinum has the resources and the experience to take it further as an independent company than it could inside Allied. We will remain shareholders alongside Platinum, and Allied will keep working with Warren every day as a partner and a customer.”

The partnership is expected to provide Warren Valve with additional resources and strategic support to pursue its growth plans. The company intends to expand its presence across North America, invest in new products and solutions, explore strategic acquisitions and strengthen the value it delivers to customers and business partners.

Mark Day, President and CEO of Warren Valve, said, “This partnership is expected to provide meaningful support for our continued growth and strengthen our position as an industry leader. Together, we look forward to accelerating our expansion across North America, investing in innovative products and solutions, pursuing strategic acquisitions, and enhancing the value we provide to our customers, employees, and business partners.” The acquisition positions Warren Valve to pursue its next phase of development as an independent company, while maintaining continuity in its leadership and customer relationships
