Henderson Silver Knights re-sign forward Sloan Stanick for 2026-27 season


LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Henderson Silver Knights have re-signed forward Sloan Stanick to a one-year AHL contract extension for the 2026-27 season, General Manager Tim Speltz announced June 24.

It will be Stanick’s third season with the Golden Knights organization.

The 22-year-old appeared in 12 games for the Silver Knights in 2025-26, totaling four goals and six points.

In 47 ECHL games with the Tahoe Knight Monsters, Stanick registered 23 goals and 52 points. He also posted two goals in two playoff games for Tahoe.

Over the past two seasons, Stanick has appeared in 14 games for Henderson. In 117 ECHL games for Tahoe, he has totaled 52 goals and 131 points.

Stanick was named the ECHL’s Rookie of the Year in 2025, leading all rookies in scoring and earning ECHL Second All-Star Team honors.

Before his professional career, the Rapid City, Manitoba native played five seasons in the Western Hockey League with the Regina Pats and the Prince Albert Raiders from 2019 to 2024, collecting 86 goals and 207 points in 274 junior games.
