ARANSAS PASS, Texas — A Silver Alert has been issued for an 87-year-old man who went missing from Aransas Pass Friday night, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Leroy Wilke was last seen at 9:32 p.m. Friday traveling eastbound on Redfish Bay Causeway in Aransas Pass, authorities said.
He is described as a white male, 6 feet tall, weighing about 200 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray long-sleeve sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and gray-and-black Skechers shoes.
Wilke may be traveling in a blue 2006 Chrysler 300 with Texas license plate HNZ9348.
Law enforcement officials said they believe Wilke’s disappearance poses a credible threat to his health and safety.
Anyone with information about Wilke’s whereabouts is asked to call the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office at (210) 335-6000, or 911 if he is spotted.
