A city cheerleading coach has won a silver medal in the world championsips in America.
Dani-Louise Olver, who is 28, coaches at Unity Allstars and has dreamed of going to world championships since she was 16 years old.
Last week she travelled to Florida to represent Team England and dazzled the judges to win a silver.
Dani, who is studying for a PHD in literature, is no stranger to success. Last year she competed in the World Cheerleading Championships in Orlando and won a gold medal.
Her parents Ian and Kelly Olver said: “Her hard work and dedication is paying off…We are extremely proud of her always but especially with this accomplishment.”
They added: “Thank you to everyone who has supported her on this journey especially her coach Miki Garrett from MKCA who Dani will be forever grateful to.”
Unity Allstars MK offers a pathway of competitive cheer teams for all ages. They focus on skill development in stunting, tumbling, jumps and performance.
