Thibodeau Helps Lead U.S. to Silver Medal at Hlinka Gretzky Cup

EDMONTON, Alberta— The U.S. Under-18 Men’s Select Team concluded play at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup today, earning the silver medal after a loss to host Canada. With Miami University’s Troy Thibodeau serving as an assistant coach, the United States finished the week with a 4-1 record in tournament play, including wins over Czechia (6-4), Finland (4-1), Germany (8-1) and Slovakia (5-2).
