Zi launches debut sterling silver jewellery collection from Rs 3,500

Mumbai: Indian design house Zi has entered the jewellery market with its debut women’s collection in 925 sterling silver, bringing contemporary pieces designed for everyday wear. Prices start at Rs 3,500.

The collection focuses on clean forms, understated detailing and versatile silhouettes, with pieces designed to work across everyday settings as well as more dressed-up occasions.

Zi has divided the debut offering into three edits. Staple Edits features everyday essentials, while Forever Favourites brings together versatile designs intended for repeat wear. Evening Elegance focuses on more elevated pieces for after-dark and occasion dressing.

The three edits are designed to work individually or be styled together, giving consumers the flexibility to build a jewellery wardrobe rather than relying solely on occasion-led pieces.

925 sterling silver is the primary material across the collection, with gold-plated silver used for select designs and rhodium plating applied to relevant pieces. The jewellery is nickel- and lead-free, with the brand placing emphasis on material quality, finish and wearability.

Zi, founder and director, Yogesh Khandelwal, said, “For us, Zi is less about defining luxury and more about redefining how we experience it. It is a lifestyle built around thoughtful design, remarkable materials and objects that bring a sense of character to everyday life.”

Founded by Khandelwal, Zi draws on his more than two decades of experience across bullion trading, refining, manufacturing and precious metals import-export. The brand is using that industry experience to build a design-led jewellery proposition focused on contemporary aesthetics.

Rather than positioning its first collection around special occasions, Zi is aiming to make jewellery part of the regular wardrobe. The offering combines everyday staples with more considered designs that can transition across different settings.

The debut collection will be available exclusively through Zi’s online platform from August 24, with prices starting at Rs 3,500.

The launch is also the first step in the brand’s wider design-house proposition. Zi is developing future collections, including The Classics and The Atelier, while exploring additional lifestyle categories with design remaining at the centre of its offering.
