The acquisition expands WTW’s digital asset protection offering and supports its strategy to grow in areas tied to digital finance, crypto ecosystems, and tokenized assets. Redefind’s platform offers non-custodial insurance coverage designed to help digital asset owners recover costs related to theft, forensic investigations, asset tracing, and legal recovery.
Redefind founders Richard Daws and Connor Edward joined WTW following the transaction. The service will initially launch in the UK, with additional markets and products planned over time.
According to WTW, the offering is aimed at growing demand for regulated protection solutions tied to digital assets and cryptocurrency exposure.
