Different trends have been recorded in the prices of major assets in the cryptocurrency market over the past 24 hours, APA-Economics reports.
According to data from the CoinMarketCap platform, the price of Bitcoin decreased by 0.33% over the past 24 hours to $83,117.47. However, the cryptocurrency has gained 6.36% over the past 30 days.
The price of Ethereum increased by 0.44% over the past 24 hours to $2,664.78. Although the asset has fallen by 2.48% over the past seven days, it has gained 8.43% over the past 30 days.
The price of Zcash fell by 11.78% to $1,377.93. BNB declined by 1.69% to $758.81, while Bitcoin Cash dropped by 3.46% to $305.47.
Monero edged up by 0.09% over the past 24 hours to $541.04, although it has declined by 5.90% over the past seven days.
Gold-backed cryptocurrencies also declined. The price of PAX Gold fell by 1.29% to $4,145.41, while Tether Gold dropped by 1.42% to $4,140.26.
Analysts say that recent market fluctuations are linked to investors taking profits following previous gains in major cryptocurrencies and to short-term corrections. At the same time, the fact that the monthly dynamics of major assets remain positive indicates continued long-term interest in the market.
