Entrepreneurs can benefit from new investment and mentorship opportunity launching across Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire

A brand-new initiative is helping local entrepreneurs build stronger businesses through experience, mentorship and real support – not just funding.

The Investment Room MK initiative has been created by four local business leaders who have all experienced the realities of entrepreneurship themselves, from navigating rapid growth to managing operational pressure, risk and decision-making.

The group brings together expertise spanning finance, engineering, operational transformation, consultancy, systems thinking and purpose-led brand growth. They believe many businesses struggle not because of poor ideas, but because entrepreneurs are often trying to build alone.

The Investment Room is focused on supporting entrepreneurs across the wider MK postcode region, including Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, with practical insight, honest conversations and access to experienced people who understand the challenges of building a business.

Importantly, the initiative is designed to support entrepreneurs at all different stages, from those with strong ideas but no clear roadmap, to established business owners feeling stuck, stretched or overwhelmed by growth.

Colin, Joanne, Shalom and Charles, the Investors behind the initiative, collectively agreed that: “Many entrepreneurs spend so much time working in the business that they rarely get the opportunity to step back and properly assess where they are, what’s working and what needs to change.

“Often, what people need first isn’t simply funding, it’s clarity, perspective and experienced people around them who understand the realities of building a business.”

The Investment Room is rolling out a wider awareness campaign, alongside online entrepreneur discussions and opportunities for businesses to talk directly with the Investors.
