Property investments where rental yields reach 33 per cent in Australia


This year’s federal budget turned residential property investing on its head.

The axing of negative gearing for all properties except new builds purchased after budget night means higher rental returns are required to cover the costs investors face. Negative gearing allows investors to own a property at a loss and offset that against income for tax purposes.
