Sound Growth Partners has invested in Diamond Art Club through its One-Stop Buyout structure, partnering with the founders of the diamond painting company as they pursue the brand’s next stage of growth. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Co-founders Angie Shehaj and Alexandre Perrier retained a significant equity stake in Diamond Art Club as part of the transaction.
Sound Growth Partners and its co-investors provided all of the capital required to complete the deal through SGP’s One-Stop Buyout structure.
Founded in 2018, Diamond Art Club specializes in diamond painting kits, a craft format that allows consumers to construct artwork using small resin pieces applied to a coded canvas.
The company’s products feature patented tools and exclusively licensed artwork sourced through a network of more than 500 independent artists.
Sound Growth’s investment is structured as a partnership with the existing founders rather than a complete founder exit.
Perrier will continue serving as Co-Founder and CEO, while Shehaj remains Co-Founder and Head of Product Development.
Management plans to use the next phase to expand the company’s team and product catalog while continuing to focus on product quality and its customer community.
Seattle-based Sound Growth Partners was founded in 2023 and invests in lower-middle-market businesses with leading positions in specialized categories.
Its investment strategy spans consumer products, business services, distribution and light manufacturing.
The Diamond Art Club transaction adds a consumer brand with a differentiated product category, proprietary tools and a large independent artist network to the firm’s portfolio.
