Temasek-owned Azalea raises over $1B across three PE funds


What’s the deal? Azalea Investment Management has raised more than $1 billion in new capital commitments across three private equity offerings, the Temasek-owned firm said Monday. The haul spans the final close of Altrium Private Equity Fund III at $526 million, the first close of Altrium Co-Invest Fund II at $210 million, and the launch of its first evergreen fund.

The new fund: Azalea All Access, the firm’s first evergreen PE fund, exceeded $350 million in initial commitments. It offers monthly subscriptions and quarterly redemptions, giving investors access to a globally diversified portfolio of PE secondaries and coinvestments.

Who backed it? All Access drew support from institutional investors, private banks, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals across Asia. Altrium III closed in June 2026 with re-ups from existing backers plus new investors from Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Malaysia, and the UK.

The funds’ focus: Altrium III targets global mid-market buyouts and secondaries for institutional and accredited investors. ACF II, which held its first close in July 2026, co-invests alongside PE managers in market-leading businesses with durable sector tailwinds.

Why now? Demand for mid-market buyouts and co-investments is rising as investors seek multiple exit avenues and more targeted, lower-fee PE exposure, according to the firm.

What they said: The raise “underscores the growing role of PE as a portfolio diversifier and complementary source of long-term returns,” said Chue En Yaw, chief executive officer and chief investment officer of Azalea.

The signal: Azalea, a wholly owned subsidiary of Seviora Holdings under Temasek, is broadening how investors access private equity — from institutional buyout funds to a retail-friendly evergreen structure. Its push reflects wider appetite in Asia for flexible, lower-fee routes into a traditionally illiquid asset class.
