GCM Grosvenor — Michael Albrecht has been appointed as managing director and co-head of direct infrastructure investments, where he will oversee investment origination, execution and portfolio management across the firm’s infrastructure business. Albrecht joins from Ridgewood Infrastructure, where he served as a managing partner, and previously held the role of senior infrastructure investment professional at Allstate Investments. With over 20 years of experience, he also spent several years at Allstate Investments, where he established and led the firm’s direct infrastructure investment strategy. In his new role, he will support GCM Grosvenor’s target of scaling its infrastructure platform as client demand for global sourcing and distinctive investment opportunities accelerates.
Newmark — Philip O’Bannon has been appointed as senior managing director to lead the infrastructure capital markets business, where he will oversee the expansion of advisory and capital raising capabilities across data centres, power, utilities and energy transition sectors. O’Bannon joins from Citigroup, where he served as a director in the power and utilities investment banking group, and previously held the role of lead mechanical engineer at Lockheed Martin. In his new role, he will support Newmark’s target of scaling its digital and energy infrastructure platform.
Hines — Methan Milkhu will take up the role of fund manager for the Hines European Real Estate Partners (HEREP) fund series. Milkhu joined the HEREP team in 2019 and has played a central role in strategy formulation and deployment across HEVF 2 and HEREP III, helping invest more than €2bn of equity across European markets and sectors, including the €1.3bn take-private of Lar España. Paul White will leave Hines after 18 years with the firm. White played an important role in building the HEREP platform. Simone Pozzato will continue as fund manager of HECF while also leading key separate institutional accounts in Europe – responsibilities he has already been managing alongside HECF with the support of established and experienced investment teams.
CBRE Investment Management — Paul White has been appointed as head of the CBRE Europe Value Partners series, where he will lead the growth of the firm’s flagship value-add strategy in EMEA and oversee investment strategy, portfolio construction and capital deployment. White joins from Hines, where he served as fund manager for Hines European Real Estate Partners, and previously held positions at Nomura and PwC. In his new role, he will support CBRE Investment Management’s target of growing its non-core direct investing activity in Europe and delivering differentiated real assets solutions to clients.
CRREM Foundation — Michael Hogenboom has been appointed as director of data, impact & innovation to lead the organisation’s transition toward an open-contribution research model. Hogenboom joins from Celonis, where he helped build the sustainability practice and used data science to drive transformation for multinational supply chains. He previously applied data science to the built environment at the Axians Urban Science innovation hub. In his new role, he will support CRREM Foundation’s target of building a global data ecosystem that incorporates voluntary market input into its science-based transition pathways.
Peachtree Group — Mike Morey has been appointed as executive vice president of capital markets, where he will lead the firm’s insurance capital markets strategy, focusing on expanding lender relationships and optimising capital sourcing. Morey joins from StanCorp Mortgage Investors, the real estate lending platform of The Standard, where he served as a senior leader for more than 15 years, and previously held the role of vice president and regional manager at Intervest Mortgage Investment Co. In his new role, he will support Peachtree Group’s target of scaling its credit platform and providing accretive lending options as global debt maturities and capital constraints accelerate.
Bidwells — Duncan MacIver has been appointed as head of property and asset management, where he will oversee operational leadership, team development and new business generation across the London and Cambridge offices. MacIver joins from Cluttons, where he served as a partner and head of commercial, and previously held the role of executive director and head of property management at MAPP. In his new role, he will support Bidwells’ target of scaling its investment and property management platform.
Trevian Asset Management — Mika Alanko has been appointed as head of Trevian Real Assets, where he will oversee the development of the firm’s infrastructure business across Finland, focusing on digital infrastructure, energy solutions and social infrastructure. Alanko joins from Roschier, Attorneys, where he served as a partner, and previously held the role of CEO at a property development company. With over 20 years of experience, he also spent two decades at Roschier, where he established a track record in cross-border transactions, corporate structuring and private equity funds. In his new role, he will support Trevian Asset Management’s target of scaling its infrastructure platform as demand for data centres and energy assets accelerates.
Cain — Ina Plunien has been appointed to drive European hospitality investment activity, where she will oversee the firm’s expansion across the experiential, luxury hospitality and living sectors in EMEA. Plunien joins from Cedar Capital Partners, where she served as a specialist in luxury and lifestyle hospitality investments. In her new role, she will support Cain‘s target of strengthening its position as a specialist investment manager in the region as it scales its global portfolio. Neil Jacobs has been appointed as a consultant for the living and hospitality verticals, where he will oversee strategic development for the firm’s specialist capabilities. Jacobs joins from Six Senses, where he served as chief executive. In his new role, he will support Cain‘s target of building out specialist capabilities across brand-led real estate and customer experience. Ana Brant has been appointed as global head of customer experience, where she will oversee the enhancement of brand-led real estate and specialist capabilities. Brant joins from Wynn Resorts, where she served as executive vice president. In her new role, she will support Cain‘s target of scaling its presence across the luxury hospitality and living sectors.
Invesco Mortgage Capital — Kevin Collins has been appointed as chief executive officer, effective May 1, 2026, where he will lead the company through its next phase of growth following its transition to an agency-focused strategy. Collins, who has served as president since 2017 and is the co-head of structured investments for Invesco Fixed Income, succeeds John Anzalone, who is retiring from the firm. Having been involved with the company since its formation in 2009, he also established a track record in mortgage securitisation markets and disciplined investment management. In his new role, he will support Invesco Mortgage Capital’s target of strengthening investor engagement and continuing the momentum of its income-focused strategy. David Lyle has been appointed as president, where he will oversee the firm’s strategic leadership alongside the executive management team. Lyle joins from his previous role as chief operating officer at Invesco Mortgage Capital, a position he held since 2017, and serves as co-head of structured investments for Invesco Fixed Income. With over 20 years of experience in securitised markets, he also spent several years managing the company’s operations since 2009. In his new role, he will support Invesco Mortgage Capital’s target of fostering meaningful engagement with stockholders and managing its monthly distribution approach.
Haynes Boone — Angus Ford has been appointed as partner to strengthen the firm’s growing focus on data centres, logistics and living sector development and investment. Ford joins from Brown Rudnick, where he served as head of UK and European real estate. In his new role, he will support Haynes Boone’s target of expanding its London real estate capabilities and global digital infrastructure platform as client demand for data centre and AI-driven infrastructure increases. Martha Williams has been appointed as counsel to drive expansion across the data centre and real estate sectors. Williams joins from Brown Rudnick, where she served as senior counsel, and recently completed a two-year secondment with a global hyperscaler. In her new role, she will support Haynes Boone’s target of bolstering its international real estate platform and coordinating sophisticated transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
APG Asset Management — Jan-Willem Ruisbroek has decided to step down as managing director of global infrastructure and private natural capital, where he has overseen the firm’s investment strategy and portfolio development. Ruisbroek, who is leaving to pursue a new professional challenge, has spent nearly 20 years at APG, having joined the firm in 2006. During his tenure, he held several key roles, including head of global infrastructure investment strategy and senior portfolio manager. He also serves as a non-executive director at Brisa.
