Dubai real estate transactions surpass AED 10 billion in just 5 days, reveal govt data

Dubai’s real estate market recorded AED 10.67 billion (₹27,762.49 crore) in transactions between September 7 and September 11, according to the Dubai Land Department.

Sales accounted for the largest share of activity during the week, reaching AED 6.78 billion (17,641.02 crore) across 2,931 transactions.

The week’s highest-value sales included several luxury residential and commercial properties across some of Dubai’s most sought-after districts.

Among the most expensive transactions recorded by the Land Department were an office at Almas Tower in Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT), which sold for AED 36.8 million (₹95.75 crore), and an apartment at Mr C Residences in Jumeirah Second, which changed hands for AED 36.5 million (₹94.97 crore).

An apartment at Dugatti Residences by Binghatti in Business Bay was also sold for AED 28 million (₹72.85 crore), ranking among the week’s largest individual transactions.

Mortgage activity contributed a further AED 2.80 billion (₹7,285.38 crore) to the market during the period, according to Land Department figures.

Meanwhile, gift transactions — properties transferred without a conventional sale — were valued at AED 1.09 billion (₹28,383.60 crore).

The latest figures underline the continued depth of activity across Dubai’s property market, with sales, mortgage deals and property transfers collectively generating more than AED10 billion (₹26,019.20 crore) in transactions over the five-day period.
