India lost the final in a battle that lasted just over 30 minutes. The Japanese pair was too strong, defeating Das and Mukherjee in three straight games. Hirano and Kihara scored 2-11, 5-11, 18-20 to claim the WTT Contender Almaty women’s doubles title. This was the second meeting between the two pairs, with Japan leading 2-0. Miu-Miyuu won previously against Syndrela-Sutirtha in the qualifiers of the WTT Contender Zagreb 2026, with the same score of 3-0.
