House of Doge to Acquire McQueen Labs Tokenization Platform, Appoints Curt Hopkins Interim CEO and CFO

House of Doge Inc. (NASDAQ: HODO) has agreed to acquire the tokenization platform and credit assets of McQueen Labs Inc., expanding its presence in blockchain-based alternative investments and tokenized private credit.

The Miami-based company announced the transaction on October 23, 2026, alongside a leadership transition, plans for a corporate rebrand and a potential reverse stock split.

The acquisition will provide House of Doge with technology and credit assets intended to support the development of tokenized yield vaults, blockchain-based investment products that use tokenized real-world credit assets as collateral.

Financial terms of the transaction and an expected closing date were not disclosed.

House of Doge said the agreement represents a strategic shift toward tokenized alternative investments, digital finance and yield-generating products backed by real-world assets.

The company also plans to explore financing alternatives to support its expansion and accelerate development of its tokenization platform.

As part of the transaction, Curt Hopkins, CEO of McQueen Labs, has been appointed interim CEO and interim CFO of House of Doge, effective immediately.

Hopkins succeeds Marco Margiotta as CEO and Charles Park as CFO. Both executives resigned from their positions effective October 22, 2026.

Following completion of the acquisition, House of Doge expects to make Hopkins’ CEO appointment permanent while conducting a search for a new chief financial officer.

The company also intends to adopt a new corporate identity reflecting its expanded focus on tokenized investments. Details of the rebrand have not yet been announced.

“This acquisition marks an important step toward the future we’re building,” said Sarosh Mistry, chairman of House of Doge. “McQueen Labs brings the technology and assets to accelerate our vision for tokenized yield vaults and alternative investments.”

The transaction positions House of Doge to participate in the growing market for tokenized real-world assets, which involves representing ownership interests or financial claims in traditional assets through blockchain-based tokens.

According to Bernstein Research data cited by Cointelegraph in May 2026, the tokenized real-world asset market had reached approximately $51 billion, representing 42% growth since the beginning of the year.

Private credit accounted for roughly 44% of that market, according to the cited research.

House of Doge intends to build on that trend by developing products that go beyond fractional ownership of assets.

Its planned tokenized yield vaults would allow tokenized credit assets to serve as collateral within blockchain-based financial structures, potentially creating additional opportunities for investors to access income-producing alternative investments.

The company has not disclosed the proposed vaults’ investment terms, target yields, eligibility requirements or expected launch date.

McQueen Labs operates MCQ Markets, a platform developed to provide fractional investment opportunities in high-value collector cars and other alternative assets.

Through MCQ Markets, the company has launched SEC-qualified fractional investment offerings involving collectible vehicles.

McQueen Labs said its platform has completed multiple investment exits that generated double-digit returns for participating investors.

Those historical results do not establish the performance of future offerings or the proposed tokenized yield products.

McQueen Labs has also developed capabilities in private credit, tokenized lending and blockchain-based investment infrastructure.

House of Doge plans to use the acquired platform and credit assets to expand into tokenized credit, sports-related investments and other yield-oriented products.

The acquisition complements the company’s existing strategic interests in professional sports franchises and its broader efforts to develop blockchain-based alternative investment offerings.

“Tokenized private credit and blockchain-based lending secured by these assets represent an enormous market opportunity,” Hopkins said.

He added that combining McQueen Labs’ technology with House of Doge’s resources could expand distribution and support entry into additional alternative asset classes.

The proposed yield vaults are intended to connect traditional income-producing assets with blockchain-based financial infrastructure.

Such structures could allow investors to use tokenized credit positions in additional financial transactions, although they also involve risks associated with underlying credit quality, collateral valuation, liquidity and blockchain technology.

House of Doge has not provided details about the regulatory structure or risk-management framework for the planned products.

In addition to the acquisition and leadership changes, House of Doge said it is evaluating financing options to support its growth strategy.

The company did not identify specific financing sources, proposed amounts or potential terms.

House of Doge also expects to file a proxy statement ahead of its annual stockholders’ meeting that will include a proposal seeking approval for a reverse split of its common stock.

A reverse stock split consolidates existing shares into a smaller number of shares without, by itself, changing the company’s overall equity value.

The proposed split ratio and anticipated implementation date were not disclosed. Any reverse split would require the applicable stockholder approval and corporate actions.

House of Doge said additional announcements regarding the rebrand, share consolidation and other strategic initiatives are expected in the coming months.

The planned acquisition would bring McQueen Labs’ tokenization infrastructure and credit assets into House of Doge as the Nasdaq-listed company expands beyond its existing digital asset activities.

For McQueen Labs, the transaction offers an opportunity to extend its investment platform and technology to a broader market.

For House of Doge, the deal represents an effort to establish a larger presence in tokenized private credit and blockchain-based alternative investment products.

The transaction remains subject to closing, with further information about the purchase consideration, integration plans and product rollout still pending.
