The AIM All Share started the day with modest gains before retreating but has been trading in a narrow channel since. Heading towards the close and the index was down less than two points at 775.82.
- Mercantile Ports +41%
- Kefi Gold +25%
- Borders & Southern Petroleum +23%
- ActiveOps -50%
- Gunsynd -17%
Mercantile Ports [LON:MPL] topped the table, up 41% at copy time. That adds to gains seen earlier last week but these are all being driven by relatively minor steps forward in the Indian tribunal’s review of asset allocation, with another note today confirming final submissions have now been made. Gains over the last week now exceed 150%.
Kefi Gold LON:KEFI was 25% higher after the company advised it was resuming operations at the Tulu Kapi project. At the start of September, activity was suspended following a serious security incident, but a phased restart is now underway.
Borders & Southern LON:BOR was up 23% at the time of writing following news of a £2m fundraise from a single investor. That was completed at a 42% premium although the subscription comes with warrants attached.
ActiveOps LON:AOM was off 50% in the closing minutes of trade following an interim update this morning. Whilst there were bright spots, the note highlighted that a major client wouldn’t be renewing an order, which would take a material toll on the FY28 numbers.
Gunsynd LON:GUN was 17% down in the wake of a statement this morning advising that the company wants to shift from investments to operations. A share consolidation is also proposed, this would arguably pave the way for a funding round, too.
