Louis Vuitton has given one of its most recognisable jewellery motifs a new interpretation. For the first time, the maison’s Color Blossom collection extends into watches, transforming the iconic Monogram Flower into a refined jewellery timepiece that’s every bit as decorative as it is functional.

The launch marks another step in Louis Vuitton’s watchmaking journey following its acquisition of La Fabrique du Temps in 2011. While the Maison has earned increasing respect in fine watchmaking over the past decade, the new Color Blossom watch turns its attention to a refined daily wearer, offering a piece that sits comfortably between fine jewellery and horology.

“We wanted to reinterpret an iconic jewellery collection and create a women’s watch with the spirit of jewellery,” explains Matthieu Hegi, Artistic Director of La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton.

Housed inside a softly rounded 26mm pebble-shaped case, the watch centres on the LV Monogram Flower—the four-petalled motif created by Georges Vuitton in 1896 and celebrates its 130th anniversary this year. Influenced by Art Nouveau, Gothic ornamentation and traditional Japanese family crests, the design remains one of the Maison’s most enduring signatures. Here, it appears not only on the dial but also in the domed sapphire crystal, which has been sculpted into the same floral silhouette. A flower-shaped crown and slim leather strap complete the design.

At the heart of each dial is a hand-polished gemstone, crafted at La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton to showcase its elegant curves and delicate volumes. Beneath the sapphire crystal, the collection features luminous mother-of-pearl and vibrant amazonite dials, each selected with the same exacting standards applied to the maison’s high jewellery creations. Louis Vuitton chose 3A-grade Australian white mother-of-pearl for its exceptional lustre, while the Brazilian amazonite underwent years of research to achieve the desired purity, veining and colour consistency.

The collection comprises four versions across steel, yellow gold and pink gold. A white mother-of-pearl dial is paired with a steel case and light beige strap for a refined tonal look, while another interpretation introduces soft pink hues through a mother-of-pearl dial set against a pink gold case and blush pink strap. A vibrant amazonite dial brings a more colourful and fresh expression, paired with a yellow gold case and matching turquoise leather strap. For those who favour extra brilliance, a fully pavé-set pink gold edition is illuminated by 103 snow-set diamonds totalling just under one carat, elevating the watch into a striking jewellery piece. For the pink-toned mother-of-pearl version, artisans hand-painted the reverse side of the dial to create its delicate blush hue. This technique allows the stone’s natural iridescence to shine through.

Powered by a precise quartz movement, the Color Blossom watch celebrates Louis Vuitton’s expertise across jewellery and watchmaking in equal measure. Small in size yet rich in detail, it brings one of the Maison’s best-loved emblems into an entirely new category.
