UAE gold price holds above AED527 as precious metals stay elevated


24-karat gold trades at AED527.50 per gram, while silver remains steady at AED8.23 as precious metals continue to attract investor interest

Dubai: Gold prices in the UAE remained elevated, with 24-karat gold trading at AED527.50 per gram, according to retail rates published by the Dubai Jewellery Group.

Meanwhile, 22-karat gold was priced at AED488.50 per gram, while 21-karat gold stood at AED468.25 per gram.

The price of 18-karat gold reached AED401.50 per gram.

Current UAE gold rates are:

  • 24K Gold: AED527.50 per gram
  • 22K Gold: AED488.50 per gram
  • 21K Gold: AED468.25 per gram
  • 18K Gold: AED401.50 per gram

Silver (999.9 purity) was trading at approximately AED8.23 per gram, equivalent to about AED8,230 per kilogram.

The latest prices reflect ongoing movements in international precious metals markets, where gold continues to trade at historically elevated levels.

Silver remains a lower-cost precious metals investment option for retail buyers seeking exposure to the sector.

Final jewellery prices may vary between retailers depending on making charges, design, brand premiums and other fees. Gold and silver prices also fluctuate throughout the trading day in line with movements in global markets.
