DAMAC Properties delivers 8,800 residential units in 2026 as Dubai development pipeline expands

Developer reports strong delivery momentum across flagship communities despite regional challenges

Dubai-based developer DAMAC Properties has handed over 8,800 residential units across the emirate during 2026 while awarding more than AED10 billion in construction contracts during the first half of the year, underscoring its continued expansion and commitment to timely project delivery.

The latest handovers span several of DAMAC’s flagship master communities and high-rise developments, while the newly awarded contracts will support the next phase of residential construction across Dubai as the company continues to expand its development pipeline.

Flagship developments drive handovers

The completed residential units were delivered across several of DAMAC’s key projects, including DAMAC Hills, DAMAC Hills 2, DAMAC Lagoons, Chic Tower and Elegance Tower.

Meanwhile, the AED10 billion worth of construction contracts awarded during the first six months of 2026 cover multiple residential developments across Dubai, supporting ongoing construction activity throughout the developer’s master communities.

The contracts form part of DAMAC’s long-term growth strategy as demand for residential property in Dubai continues to remain strong.

Developer maintains delivery momentum

Ali Sajwani, Managing Director of DAMAC Properties, said the company remains committed to delivering every project on schedule while maintaining high standards of construction quality.

He noted that despite regional geopolitical tensions earlier this year, DAMAC’s construction activity, operational performance and project handover timelines have continued without disruption.

“Our priority remains clear — to deliver on our commitments while maintaining the highest standards of quality, efficiency and execution,” Sajwani said.

He added that Dubai continues to demonstrate exceptional resilience as one of the world’s leading destinations for real estate investment, with DAMAC committed to supporting the emirate’s long-term growth through continued project delivery and investment.

Strong development pipeline

Founded in 2002 by Hussain Sajwani, DAMAC Properties has delivered approximately 50,000 residential units to date, with more than 54,000 additional homes currently under construction.

The developer expanded its local and international presence during 2025 through several high-profile partnerships, including collaborations with Chelsea Football Club and Oracle Red Bull Racing, alongside the launch of new residential projects.

DAMAC said it continues to strengthen its project pipeline through strategic contractor partnerships, greater operational efficiency and technology-driven construction processes, reinforcing its position as one of the Middle East’s leading real estate developers.

Dubai property market remains resilient

The latest announcement comes as Dubai’s real estate market continues to benefit from strong investor demand, population growth and government initiatives that support long-term property ownership and investment.

Developers across the emirate have maintained robust construction activity to meet rising demand for residential properties, particularly within integrated master-planned communities.
