‘We are blown away by the sector’s generosity’: Shortlist revealed for The Yorkshire Commercial Real Estate Awards 2026

The rising stars of the commercial property sector will be celebrated at a major awards ceremony which raises funds to transform the lives of disadvantaged children across Yorkshire.

The Yorkshire Commercial Real Estate Awards, organised by Yorkshire Children’s Charity, honour the dynamic business leaders who are bringing jobs and investment to the region during a time of economic uncertainty. The awards dinner, which will be held on Thursday May 7 at Rudding Park Hotel, Harrogate, will also raise funds for the charity’s initiatives to support children across Yorkshire, including the Great Yorkshire Build projects.

The Great Yorkshire Build transforms the space and facilities of SEND (Special educational needs and disability) schools in Yorkshire to change the lives of teachers and students.

Founder and CEO of Yorkshire Children’s Charity, Charlotte Farrington said: “As a charity, we are continuously blown away by the generosity and altruism of Yorkshire’s property sector. In 2025, we completed the first phase of our biggest and most ambitious Great Yorkshire Build to date – a £3m transformation of Hilltop special educational needs school in Rotherham – a project that simply would not have been possible without the support rallied through the Yorkshire Commercial Real Estate Awards.”
