DognyAuction, the oldest auction house in French-speaking Switzerland, has unveiled an online sale of rare watches, jewellery and design pieces running until 6 p.m. CET on June 3, with 314 lots including 60 sought-after timepieces.
Leading the sale is a unique 1937 18k yellow gold pocket watch by renowned Swiss watchmaker James-César Pellaton, offered with original documents and a starting price of CHF 30,000.
Collectors are also expected to compete for a 1987 Patek Philippe Nautilus reference 3800/1, designed by Gérald Genta and linked to celebrity owners including Jay-Z and Brad Pitt, with bidding set to start at CHF 30,000.
Several vintage Audemars Piguet Royal Oak models are included in the sale, ranging from an entry-level 1980s reference opening at CHF 1,800 to a rare Royal Oak Offshore Diver starting at CHF 14,000.
The auction also features standout models from Rolex, including an 18k gold Oyster Day-Date and a geometric vintage Cellini in yellow gold inspired by jewellery design.
A special edition Omega Seamaster Diver 300M created for the 60th anniversary of the James Bond film franchise will go under the hammer with an opening bid of CHF 6,850.
DognyAuction is additionally presenting a rare sculptural Omega women’s watch designed in collaboration with artist Gilbert Albert, whose experimental creations are now regarded as museum-worthy objects.
Luxury jewellery buyers will find five rare creations by French goldsmith Jean Vendome, whose architectural-inspired pieces continue to rise in value at auction.
